Tony Elumelu spends $30,000 on 17 talented storytellers

Seventeen storytelling finalists will be awarded $30,000 scholarships to develop projects aimed at showcasing African entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship, all while challenging harmful stereotypes about Africa.

Out of the $30,000 fund, each storyteller will receive funding ranging from $500 to $2,000.

These finalists, hailing from 12 different African countries, have been chosen from a pool of 3,600 entries, with a representation of 60% female and 40% male participants.

The Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund is an initiative by Heirs Insurance Limited and Heirs Life Assurance in collaboration with Africa No Filter. It’s essential to note that this fund operates independently and is not affiliated with the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
