Jamie Foxx has broken his silence nearly one month after being rushed to the emergency room due to a “medical complication.” The actor expressed his gratitude for the love and support he has received from his family, friends, and fans. Taking to Instagram on May 3, Foxx posted a message saying, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.” He has a substantial following on the platform, and many well-wishers commented on his post, including AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys, DJ Khaled, and Cynthia Bailey.
Foxx also used his Instagram Story to thank Nick Cannon for temporarily hosting the new season of Beat Shazam, a musical game show typically hosted by Foxx. Normally, his daughter Corinne serves as the show’s DJ, but Kelly Osbourne will be filling in for her in the meantime. Foxx expressed his appreciation for Cannon and stated, “See [you] all soon.”
Earlier, on April 12, Corinne Foxx revealed in an Instagram statement that her father had experienced a medical complication while filming the Netflix movie Back In Action in Atlanta. She assured fans that he was on his way to recovery due to prompt action and excellent care. Filming continued with a stunt double standing in for Foxx in his remaining scenes.
During the three weeks that followed, reports emerged that Foxx’s condition was improving as doctors conducted further tests. However, concerns resurfaced when some of Foxx’s close friends requested prayers earlier in the week. Fortunately, Foxx has now spoken out and seemingly confirmed that he is making progress.
