PSG: Surprise, Qatar wants to destroy Mbappé’s plan

The 2023/2024 season is likely to be Kylian Mbappé’s last in the colors of PSG (Paris Saint-Germain). The French striker has announced that he does not wish to continue with the Parisian adventure beyond June 2024, a decision that seems to have been carefully considered, with several projects in the pipeline. But PSG doesn’t really seem to agree…

We’re in for an incredible season, as it could well be Kylian Mbappé’s last at PSG. The French star has announced that he does not wish to exercise his option year, which would mean leaving in June 2024. A real disaster for the club, who thought they were building an entire project around Mbappé.

“With PSG, we’ve never talked about an extension, but I’m happy to stay in Paris next season”

After the statement that set things alight, he confirmed the trend in a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I only confirmed that I didn’t want to activate the option of an extra season in my contract,” said Kylian Mbappé. “With PSG, we never talked about an extension, but I’m happy to stay in Paris next season”.

A documentary about Mbappé?

Mbappé’s last few months at PSG could end up on the big screen! Foot Mercato has revealed that the player’s entourage is planning an entire communications policy around the upcoming season, which could well be his last. This could include a documentary, although no broadcasting platform seems to have snapped up the offer yet.

PSG want to sell him this summer

PSG could, however, spoil Mbappé’s plans! Again according to Foot Mercato, the Parisian directors are reportedly extremely annoyed by the French star’s recent bombshell. As a result, they are keen to sell him this summer, so as not to run the risk of losing him for free in just over a year’s time.
